• Budget Baseline Tracking: Establish and maintain project cost codes and baseline budget allocations across all work breakdown structures (WBS). 

• Commitment & Expenditure Auditing: Track purchase orders, subcontracts, and petty cash expenditures in the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) to verify budget availability. 

• Cost Variance Analysis: Analyze actual costs against earned value and baseline budgets, highlighting cost overruns or savings. 

• Labor & Plant Productivity Costing: Evaluate daily labor headcounts and equipment timesheets to calculate unit production costs and identify inefficiencies. 

• Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) Input: Provide accurate actual expenditure data to the commercial team for monthly CVR compilations. 

• Waste & Consumption Monitoring: Monitor site material consumption against theoretical allowances to identify leakage or scrap overruns. 

• Cash Flow Forecasting: Assist in preparing monthly project cash outflow forecasts and revenue projections. 

• Reporting & Presentation: Prepare monthly cost dashboard presentations for project management reviews. 

Desired Candidate Profile

• Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Accounting, or Finance (attested with equivalency & MOFA); 6+ years cost control experience. 

• Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) or CMA; advanced SAP/Oracle ERP knowledge. 

• Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License. 

• Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience: 6–10 years of cost control experience in UAE civil contracting delivering multi-package residential or commercial projects.
