Role Description

As an Independent Consultant or Advisory Partner within the CGI network, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage client relationships, originate new business and deliver specialist advisory services.

Depending on your expertise, responsibilities may include:

• Identifying, developing and managing client relationships and commercial opportunities.
• Advising clients on strategic, financial, commercial, operational or technical matters.
• Leading consultancy projects, corporate transactions, M&A assignments and due diligence engagements.
• Conducting structured analysis, identifying risks and developing practical recommendations.
• Preparing proposals, project plans, commercial recommendations and client deliverables.
• Coordinating with other CGI specialists to deliver multidisciplinary solutions.
• Maintaining accurate records of client engagement, outreach and project activity through CGI's systems.
• Contributing to the development of CGI's wider professional network and commercial offering.

Engagements are typically outcome-focused, requiring professional judgement, autonomy, accountability and a strong commitment to client confidentiality.

Skills

Qualifications & Experience

We are particularly interested in professionals who demonstrate:

• Proven senior-level experience within their chosen specialist discipline.
• Strong analytical, consulting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing clients, delivering projects or leading commercial engagements.
• The ability to identify opportunities and develop professional relationships.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• A commercial mindset, with an understanding of client needs and business development.
• High standards of integrity, discretion, accountability and confidentiality.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating within a wider professional framework.

Relevant professional qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, CPA, CA, ACCA, PMP or other industry-specific certifications are advantageous but not mandatory where substantial experience can be demonstrated.

Experience in the UAE or GCC is particularly welcome, although applications from suitably experienced international professionals are encouraged.

Commercial Structure

This is not a traditional salaried employment position.

CGI offers independent consultancy and commercial partnership arrangements based on transparent revenue-sharing principles.

Participants may select from different commercial models depending on their business requirements, anticipated activity and preferred level of support.

Consultants remain responsible for generating their own opportunities, with potential additional business arising through referrals and collaboration across the CGI network.

All engagements are subject to appropriate contractual arrangements, client acceptance, professional standards and applicable licensing or regulatory requirements.
