Safety Officer

Job Purpose:

To Plan and execute the safety Programs as per national and International Safety standard to ensure the safety of Place, people and Equipment. Coordinates with Legal Authorities like civil dense and DM for implementation of HSE Policy. To ensure the Health, Safety & Environment standards are implemented and audited efficiently by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, Plan and Schedules the HSE training in coordination with training department.
  • Being responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace, People and equipment.
  • In Charge of Pest Control of the Factory (Contract & monitoring)
  • In Charge of Fire alarm and firefighting system (Monitoring)
  • In Charge of Security Company of the factory (Contract & day to day operation)
  • In Charge of Security system (CCTV) of the factory (Monitoring)
  • In Charge of Water Tank Cleaning (Monitoring/QA)
  • In Charge of production machinery Safety SOP and training.
  • First aid Management (supply & incident monitoring).
  • Set Up & manage health and safety systems and policies in the workplace
  • Auditing health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace
  • Maintain SOP of HSE to all employees in Factory.
  • To be legally compliant with all health and safety municipality legislation

Qualification and Licenses requirement:

  • NEBOSH- Diploma or IGC with 1-2 years of HSE officer experience.
  • Technical /vocation Training in any engineering courses

Skills

Experience requirement:

  • Proven experience in HSE Officer role.
  • Understanding of National and international HSE standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace, People and Equipment safety procedures
  • Ability to carry out Safety, Energy Audit and propose the Solution.
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & presentation skills
