We are seeking an experienced project manager with proven experience in counseling students to prepare for and apply to global universities. This is a full-time position whose working hours are 12:00-8:00 pm, with some variation to this schedule depending on periodic needs. 

This is a dual role requiring experience as an Educational Consultant and as a project administrator. 

University Admissions Consultant Role

You’ll work with students and guide them through the university readiness and application process using our proven process and tools. In this fully remote position, you will:

·      Work 1:1 and deliver group presentations.

·      Evaluate academic transcripts and make recommendations for growth

·      Guide students through careers and majors exploration

·      Recommend extracurricular and enrichment activities to position students for success in university admissions

·      Explain college admissions and testing requirements and timelines

·      Develop target college lists based on student goals, profiles, and financial constraints

·      Advise on the components of a standout application: essays, resumes, activities lists, and portfolios

·      Maintain comprehensive and efficient notes on student advising sessions for accurate and timely reporting.

Project Manager Role

The ideal candidate will also have experience managing teams and projects and will possess a strong aptitude for reporting, logistics, and project planning. In this capacity, you will:

·      Report directly to senior managers, clients, and key stakeholders on our global team

·      Implement annual university guidance curricula

·      Coordinate and deliver group university application and career guidance sessions virtually and onsite to students, as per the needs of the program.

·      Recruit and manage logistics for internal and external guest presenters

·      Monitor project implementation process, and assist in resolving issues that might arise during

·      the implementation and execution, project evaluation

·      Maintain fastidious records to document achievements and to ensure that projects are completed within the specified budget and timeline.

·      Collaborate with the team to provide a regular operational snapshot report, sending reports and associated spreadsheets to Internal management.

·      Adhere to policies, procedures, and ethical standards of the school counseling profession.

·      Ensure an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team working environment.

·      Perform other duties as requested by direct reporting line managers/supervisors

Skills

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree - Required

·      Master's degree in education, career counseling, or similar field- Preferred.

·      Minimum 2 years experience as a school counselor in a high school setting or independent educational consultant Required

·      Proven knowledge of international admissions procedures

·      Track record of success with elite university admissions counseling

·      Excellent ability to build rapport with students, parents, administrators, and team

·      Exceptional writing and communication skills

·      Superior time management and organizational skills

·      Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented multi-tasker

·      Expertise in using web-based tools to advise students.
