Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
2. Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to develop project plans and specifications.
3. Design and plan infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water supply systems, and sewage systems, considering technical, environmental, and economic factors.
4. Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines.
5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and obtain necessary permits for construction projects.
6. Supervise and manage construction projects, including overseeing contractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality control.
7. Perform risk assessments and address potential issues or challenges during project implementation.
8. Conduct quality assurance checks on completed projects to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.
9. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and community members, to address concerns and ensure project success.
10. Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in civil engineering.

Skills

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
4. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
7. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with diverse stakeholders.
