To ensure that the flydubai fleet is maintained in accordance with the approved maintenance programme as per current GCAA regulations.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Key Activities

 
1. Ensuring that the maintenance planned for the flydubai fleet enables full aircraft availability to support the operational flying programme.
2. Ensuring efficient and cost effective planning of maintenance around flydubai fleet network.
3. Planning of line maintenance checks, component replacements,acceptable deferred defects, cabin deferred defects, base maintenance and lease return checks.
4. Reviewing of forthcoming maintenance across the fleet ensuring flydubai remains in regulatory compliance at all times.
5. Compiling, auditing and issuing of maintenance work packages and supporting data ensuring the standards, accuracy and quality of planned maintenance on the operated fleet.
6. Planning of engine changes and staggered fuel nozzle replacements.
7. Aircraft maintenance check slot planning liaising with network planning and operations to agree on suitable downtime.
8. Monitoring aircraft utilisation and advising operations on utilisation trend to ensure AMP utilisation envelop is maintained.
9. Maintain and update planning KPI's.
10. Providing out of hours planning support when requested ensuring the safe, punctual, efficient and cost effective operation of the fleet
11. Management reporting on scheduled maintenance activity.
12. Maintain a handover log in AMOS.
13. Answer Technical Assistance Queries in AMOS.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

 

Minimum Qualification

 
• Degree or equivalent experience
• Secondary School Education GCSE (Engineering degree preferred (EASA B2 or B1 as alternative))

 

Experience

 
• Minimum 5 years previous experience in similar role desirable
• Current aircraft maintenance records management systems and techniques.
• Line and base maintenance planning and airline operations

 

Knowledge / Skills 


• Current aircraft maintenance planning systems and techniques.
• The use of IT systems including Microsoft Suite and airline/MRO Systems.
• Safety/Airworthiness Awareness and GCAA regulations

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
