Job Responsibilities:

Undertakes documents design and systems engineering of complete Audio-Visual Systems, including all project stages such as: site survey, pre-sale, implementation, handover and AMC support.

Job Duties:

• Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of equipment and professional services.
• Articulately conveys (verbally, visually, graphically) digital design concepts to design and delivery professionals with varying levels of understanding.
• Manages and organizes model creation and engineering design drawings, as-built drawings, material submittals (equipment documentation) and method statements for clients.
• Understands and interprets needs and requirements for CAD drafting and BIM Model creation and timeline for development and completion.
• Undertakes project delivery responsibilities, development of discipline specific engineering calculations, carry out modelling duties, co-ordinate with modelling teams and ensure full integration of modelling information with other disciplines.
• Undertakes self-checking initiatives whilst maintaining quality control of junior engineers works and ensure adherence to all relevant design criteria and standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with internal business lines, and external vendors.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience:

• AV Systems CAD draughting: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• diploma attested in the UAE (Required)
• Cresrton, Extron or AVIXA (Preferred)

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering with 03-05 years of CAD Drafting or BIM Modeling in medium to large-scale Audio-Visual Systems Integration Projects.
• Proven practical background of Design Visualization Applications like Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk 360 (Cloud Rendering), 3D Studio Max, and Navisworks is mandatory.
• Candidates with working experience & familiar with vendors like Crestron, Extron, Atlona, Televic, Bosch, Bose, Avaya, Polycom, Cisco, Epson, Panasonic are preferred.
• Candidates with AVIXA and Vendor Specific Certifications are preferred.
• Candidates with understanding of MEP & ELV systems are preferred.
• Candidates with UAE Driving License are preferred.
• Location: Dubai Media City, Dubai, UAE with 0-70% self-facilitated travel.
