​Charterhouse is working exclusively in partnership with a leading organisation which specializes in organizing a variety of industry-related technical conferences and seminars throughout the GCC. Our client is looking to hire a meticulously organized Event Manager to join their small team in Dubai, responsible for the proactive management of event planning and execution across the region.

About the role
The Event Manager will take responsibility for coordinating all aspects of industry-specific conferences, exhibitions and seminars from conception to completion, including marketing, vendor arrangements, attendee and participant registrations, in addition to on-site management. This role will play a pivotal part in developing and implementing programs to enhance the company offerings within the region, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Working closely with the regional leaders, the Event Manager will also provide administrative support and contribute towards the region’s business plan.

An additional priority will be the handling of financial related activity such as managing event budgets, negotiating vendor contracts and handling all event-related invoices, ideally having prior experience in supplier invoicing and reconciliation. Our client is looking to hire someone who is proactive with excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively problem solve in a deadline driven environment in order to ensure smooth event operations.

About you
To be considered for the role, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in Event Management, preferably coupled with experience in execution of corporate or professional events. Our client is looking to hire someone with exceptional organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and proactive individual with excellent communication skills in English.

This role will involve regular travel across the GCC therefore individuals must be flexible to travel often at short notice in line with business requirements, in turn our client offers a flexible work from home model.
