About the Client:
This leading maintenance service provider is owned by a large holding company based in the UAE.
Job Description:
- Collect and review all pertinent documents, including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications, and inspect the construction site to fully understand the required work.
- Estimate the costs of maintenance and construction projects, collaborating with contractors, sub-contractors, and architects to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high-quality standards.
- Obtain and review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors, identifying labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, then decide on the most suitable offer.
- Assess the levels of commercial risk on a project and determine client requirements. Assist with bids for new contracts and support procurement buying activities.
- Present the prepared estimate to the client by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Open to Asian nationalities
- Male, 45 years old and below
- Must have 4 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on MEP projects, 2 years of which must be in UAE.
- Must have experience in using any of the ff. software: AutoCAD, Revit, CostX, Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu, and Navisworks.
