Previous consulting experience in an Audit / Accounting firm is mandatory.
2. Recording of daily financial transactions in compliance with IFRS right from recording to reporting.
3. Recording of all closing entries at month end, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset, prepaid, accruals & payroll schedules.
4. Ensuring journal entry information is complete with right supporting documents.
5. Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
6. Preparation of financial statements & Previous experience in preparing financial statements is mandatory.
7. Supporting the auditors with relevant information required to complete the audit.
Skills
CPA or accounting graduate qualified.
ii. 3 to 6 years of experience in accounting including financial reporting
iii. Knowledge of Accounting systems such as Xero, Quick Books, Zoho etc. & ability to work independently.
iv. Experience in IFRS reporting.
v. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
vi. Solid analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
