KG Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

Develops lesson plans and manages the learning experiences for students to ensure the needs of the groups and individual students are met.

• Participates in professional activities designated by the head trainer, which may include workshops, curriculum retreats, meetings, grade reporting, planning, and other professional pursuits.

• Maintains a neat, well organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy and adheres to all health and safety regulations.

• Works to develop close and effective relationships with parents, including opportunities to discuss and understand the child’s individual progress; encourages them to bond with both the class and the larger school community; provides individualized tracking of student progress.

• Follows the school’s policies and procedures for student evaluation and recordkeeping, meeting all due dates as required; includes the administration of standardized tests (if applicable).

• Assesses the needs of the class and prepares requests for materials, furnishings, and framework.


• Creates instruction that supports the development of the cognitive, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth of the child.


• Uses the Montessori Curriculum, Montessori Albums, and current research based instructional practices to develop interdisciplinary units of instruction that meet both the group and individual needs of students.


• Uses various assessment tools/strategies such as observations, children’s work samples, continuums of development, portfolios, etc. to help make instructional decisions for individual students.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5 plus experience working in an American Curriculum school
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Masters Degree in Education
  • Understand the local educational requirements in UAE (Sharjah)Our client is leading group of international schools.
  • We are looking to hire a KG Supervisor, experienced in American Curriculum. (Pre-Kg to Grade 1)
