Position Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Software Engineering Director to lead our diverse software engineering teams. This role is essential for guiding the development, execution, and improvement of our software solutions. You will be at the helm of our Software Engineering sector, encompassing Software Development, Low Code Development, and Software Testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Software Engineering sector, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
Oversee the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
Foster innovation in software practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
Ensure the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance within all software engineering teams.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement software solutions that enhance business operations and customer satisfaction.
Manage and mentor team leads and developers, encouraging their growth and development within the company.
Define and manage the budget for the Software Engineering sector, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and software development trends, integrating them into strategies and processes when beneficial.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of leading successful software development teams and projects.
Strong understanding of different software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Familiarity with modern programming languages, platforms, and frameworks.
