Operations Administrator / Analyst

A unique role of Operations Administrator/Analyst is required for a successful international sports gaming brand with a market-leading presence in multiple countries.

Onsite with some remote. Permanent, JLT, Dubai. The ideal applicant will be already residing in Dubai and possess an Emirati Visa and will not require one upon being hired.


Ionix International are looking to identify a talented individual who will play an important role in the ongoing growth and development of our business.


The successful candidate will have a technical proficiency/foundation in database management and SQL, while also being very well versed in the Microsoft Office suites and have a competency for numbers and accounting.


The role is an important one in the business providing administrative support and reporting assistance to the business. Key focuses will be on delivering/extracting data, producing periodic reports from the data within Tableau and reconciling monthly invoices against both internal systems and the systems of external gaming partners.


Though an interest in gaming is a positive, it’s not necessary and as long as the core required skills are apparent and demonstrated, anything industry specific will be taught. 


Main Responsibilities Include.


Provide administrative support to the Head of Gaming and the Gaming Team as a whole upon request.

Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.

Utilize data mining techniques to extract relevant insights for strategic decision-making.

Verify and reconcile invoices to ensure accuracy of data.

Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of commercial deals. invoices and payments.

Run SQL queries and extract / deliver lists based upon specific criteria.

Production of periodic presentations for Gaming Team to deliver to business stakeholders.

Develop visually appealing and user-friendly reports to present complex financial data in a comprehensible manner.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data sources and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of dashboard information.

Evaluate existing business processes related to finance and identify areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline financial workflows.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate technology solutions that enhance financial processes.

Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate financial insights to management.

Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of various financial strategies.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance analytical capabilities.

Skills

At least 5 years of work experience relative to the role.


A bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related field

Strong attention to detail and precision in task execution.

Strong in MS Office – especially Excel & PowerPoint

Proficiency in SQL

Knowledge of Data Visualisation Tools (Preferably Tableau)

An understanding of account reconciliation and general finance systems.

The ability to learn new software packages quickly.

Ability to work in a structured way, managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Eagerness to learn, with a flexible and humble approach to work.
