Synopsis
The Documentation Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all operational manuals, forms, and Jeppesen Charts on board the Etihad Airways fleet are updated and available with the latest revisions. The role also includes performing quality audits, managing documentation processes, and coordinating with other departments to ensure documentation standards are maintained across the fleet, simulators, and offices.
Accountabilities
- Updating operation manuals, forms and Jeppesen Charts on board EY fleet.
- Perform random quality audits on documentation on board aircraft, in the flight simulators and offices to ensure quality of the documentation is maintained.
- Coordinates and arranges printing of manuals and documents when required by the flight operations.
- Provide and repair the EFB mount to the aircraft, whenever there is a request,
- Manage the delivery shipments for new aircraft in conjunction with the EIS team.
- Manage all modifications related documentation in conjunction with the Operations documentation and Flight Ops Engineering department
- Ensuring that monthly inspection of on-board aircraft and offices libraries are conducted and that any findings are closed.
Education & Experience
- Educated to a minimum of high school certification
- University Degree is preferable
- At least 3 years working in airline or OEM with good knowledge of Operations Documentation
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
