Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Resident Engineer with expertise in sewerage, drainage, and wastewater projects to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key infrastructure projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth technical knowledge, leadership skills, and extensive experience in managing large-scale water and wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management and Supervision:
- Lead and manage the construction and execution of sewerage, drainage, and wastewater systems.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Design and Technical Oversight:
- Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
- Monitor the implementation of design solutions to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all activities comply with local and international engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE regulations and requirements for sewerage and wastewater systems.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Act as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance and Control:
- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Address and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that arise during the project.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed progress reports, technical documentation, and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of all project activities and decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in sewerage, drainage, and wastewater engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sewerage and drainage design principles and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS systems.
