About the Role
The Group IT Director will define and execute the company’s overall IT strategy, encompassing infrastructure, systems, applications, network management, and cybersecurity. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this role provides functional leadership across all business units, ensuring alignment with Group IT standards and driving digital transformation initiatives.
The Group IT Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the Group IT Strategy and Roadmap aligned with corporate objectives. The role includes designing and maintaining a secure, scalable, and efficient IT infrastructure across systems, applications, networks, and data management. A critical part of the position is leading the Group’s digital transformation agenda, advising on innovation, upgrades, and emerging technologies such as AI and data analytics. The Director will define and enforce IT governance, policies, and compliance frameworks, including cybersecurity and data privacy. Additional responsibilities include establishing and managing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, overseeing IT project management across all entities, building and managing vendor relationships, ensuring robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and coaching IT teams to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
About You
The ideal Group IT Director will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field. The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience within the IT space, including at least 5 years in senior IT leadership roles managing multi-country operations. A proven track record in defining and implementing Group-level IT strategies and leading digital transformation initiatives is essential. Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity is required. Experience in logistics or large-scale operational environments will be considered advantageous.
The successful candidate will bring a strategic and commercially focused mindset, coupled with strong leadership skills. The candidate should be confident in managing relationships at the highest level and able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. A deep understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, and data management is essential. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is results-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is a must.
