Job Purpose
To lead analytical activities related to project controls, including cost analysis, scheduling, risk tracking, and performance monitoring. The role supports accurate and timely reporting of project health and ensures data integrity across control systems, enabling effective decision-making and strong project governance for Our Client.
Key Accountabilities
• Lead the collection, validation, and interpretation of project cost, schedule, and risk data to support high-quality project performance reporting.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards, forecasting models, and analytical tools to provide timely and accurate insights into project health.
• Monitor progress against approved cost and schedule baselines, analyze variances and trends, and recommend corrective actions to project leadership.
• Integrate cost and schedule data to support Earned Value Management (EVM), including SPI, CPI, and forecasting accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to project control procedures, governance requirements, and PMO standards across assigned projects.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, finance, engineering, and risk teams to ensure alignment and consistency in project control information.
• Lead schedule and cost review activities, including evaluation of contractor-submitted schedules, cost reports, and progress updates.
• Support project risk identification, quantification, and tracking; ensure mitigation actions are documented and monitored.
• Prepare inputs for project review meetings, executive reports, quality audits, and portfolio performance reviews.
• Maintain data accuracy and configuration control within systems such as Primavera P6, Ares Prism, and relevant corporate systems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff within the project controls function, supporting capability development within the PMO.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCP, PSP, or PMI-SP are preferred.
Minimum Experience
• 6–8 years of experience in project controls within mining, industrial, or large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with schedule and cost integration and familiarity with relevant tools and methodologies.
