Roles & Responsibilities
Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and close-out of major residential projects (both villas and high-rise developments). Ensure milestones are met within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Engineering & Technical Coordination: Review structural, architectural, and MEP drawings. Coordinate complex engineering methodologies, including heavy machinery setup (such as tower cranes), deep excavations, and specialized foundation systems.
Contract & Cost Control: Work closely with the Quantity Surveying (QS) and procurement teams to manage variations, verify Material Submittals, issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), and optimize project cash flow.
Authority & Compliance Liaison: Manage the submission and approval process with local Dubai authorities, ensuring full compliance with Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Dubai Municipality, and other relevant bodies.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and internal corporate executives. Deliver clear progress reports and bridge communication gaps between localized site teams and international stakeholders.
Site Safety & Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies on site. Conduct regular quality audits to ensure construction matches approved shop drawings and specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in civil construction, with at least 3–5 years in a Project Manager role.
Proven track record of successfully delivering both horizontal residential developments (villas) and vertical structures (high-rise residential buildings).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of concrete structures, raft foundations, finishing works, fit-outs, and local UAE building codes.
Languages:
Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is highly preferred to coordinate effectively with international corporate teams and suppliers.
Key Skills: Strong leadership, commercial acumen, contract administration knowledge (FIDIC), and proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD).
