Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Abu Dhabi. The Project Manager will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of genomics and data infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project scope, developing schedules, tracking milestones, and coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. The role involves managing logistics for project resources and equipment, monitoring progress, addressing risks, and preparing regular status reports. The Project Manager will also support documentation, compliance with relevant guidelines, and continuous improvement of project management processes. Qualifications Strong project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting, with experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Experience as an Expeditor and in Expediting to ensure timely delivery of materials, services, and project deliverables. Knowledge of Logistics Management, including coordination of shipments, inventory, and on-site resource allocation. Inspection and quality assurance skills to monitor project outputs and vendor performance against agreed standards. Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage. Proven ability to work on-site with diverse teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with research, healthcare, or data-intensive projects is beneficial; interest in genomics or public health is a plus. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in common project management and collaboration tools.
