Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Develop and manage the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Coordinate vendor contracts and service agreements, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
Implement energy management strategies to promote sustainability and reduce operational costs.
Manage all project defects reported during the Defect Liability Period.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Inspect reported defects and verify the root cause.
Ensure all works comply with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Attend client and contractor meetings related to defects and outstanding works.
Escalate delayed or repeated defects to senior management.
Maintain records of defect notices, inspection reports, photos, approvals, and closure documents.
Support final handover, closeout documentation, and release of retention or performance guarantees.
Ensure client satisfaction by resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, or Mechanical Engineering a related field, providing a strong foundation for the role.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management, demonstrating a proven track record of success in the industry.
