Job Title: Working Groups Affairs Specialist Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Purpose
To provide operational and administrative support for sector-based working group activities. The role involves coordinating meetings, maintaining documentation and records, supporting stakeholder engagement activities, and ensuring smooth communication and alignment among working group members and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Assist in scheduling, organizing, and coordinating working group meetings, workshops, and related engagements. Prepare attendance records, send calendar invitations, and distribute meeting materials to participants. Record meeting minutes, track action items, and support follow-up activities under the guidance of senior team members. Maintain and update databases related to working group participants, sector focus areas, and stakeholder information. Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure effective participation and engagement from members. Support the collection, organization, and maintenance of data, reports, documents, and stakeholder feedback. Coordinate with internal departments regarding information requests, collaborative initiatives, and shared activities. Assist in preparing summaries, status reports, communication templates, and presentation materials. Escalate unresolved matters or urgent stakeholder concerns to the Senior Specialist or Section Head. Ensure compliance with local and federal Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and standards. Perform additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor in line with organizational priorities and role requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, coordination, administration, or research-related functions. Experience within government entities, semi-government organizations, or business-facing environments is preferred.
