Role Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for leading all cost-related aspects of projects from pre-contract through post-contract stages. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), developing cost plans and estimates, and providing detailed cost advice during design development. The role also involves evaluating contractor and subcontractor quotations, preparing tender documents, and supporting contract negotiation and award. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will monitor project budgets, track variations, produce regular cost reports, and advise on value engineering options. In addition, the role includes assessing interim payment applications, managing final accounts, and collaborating closely with project managers, designers, and clients to maintain financial control and project viability. Qualifications
Strong experience in cost management, cost planning, and cost control Skilled in quantity surveying documentation, including BOQ preparation and cost reporting Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or related field (RICS is a plus) Proven Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor experience on construction projects in the UAEStrong knowledge of UAE construction contracts, tendering, and variation/claims management Advanced Excel, numerical, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) Good coordination skills with consultants, contractors, and clients
