Role Description The Civil Job Performer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for executing day-to-day civil construction activities on project sites. This includes performing concrete works, masonry, formwork, steel fixing, and finishing tasks according to drawings, specifications, and supervisor instructions. The role involves assisting with site preparation, material handling, and ensuring proper use of tools and equipment while following safety procedures and reporting any hazards. The Civil Job Performer collaborates with site engineers and forepersons, supports accurate measurement and layout work, and helps maintain a clean, organized work area to support efficient project progress. The individual is expected to follow company policies, comply with local regulations, and contribute to a positive, teamwork-oriented workplace. Qualifications Practical experience in civil construction activities such as concrete work, masonry, formwork, steel fixing, and finishing. Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings, instructions, and site layout guidelines. Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment, with strong adherence to safety standards. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor, work outdoors, and handle varying site conditions. Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow directions from supervisors and coordinate with colleagues. Basic numeracy and measurement skills to support accurate execution of work on-site. Previous experience in civil contracting or construction projects in the UAE or similar environments is an advantage. High school education or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in construction trades is beneficial.
