Role Purpose:The PMO Specialist is the professional PMO backbone of the partnership portfolio. The role keeps a single, accurate picture of ongoing, interdependent initiatives, designing and running the tracking, dependency, and reporting machinery.
Responsibilities:Builds and runs the PMO operating system: Designs the master tracker, data standards, reporting , and dashboards spanning all initiatives across partnerships. Manages dependencies and risk at portfolio level: Maintains the portfolio risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. Drives the status cadence: Runs the recurring data call across initiative owners and partner counterparts, consolidating updates into one accurate view. Coordinates across the ecosystem: Keeps interdependent workstreams aligned across units, without owning or executing any initiative. Services the governance secretariat: Prepares Board and Committee material, maintains decision and escalation logs, and drives follow-through to closure. Supports engagements: Supports bilateral committee and working-group preparation and logistics; produces Arabic-language correspondence as needed, and supports coordination of travel and meeting preparation.
Experience:6–10 years experience in PMO, program, or portfolio coordination, ideally including standing up or running a PMO for a large, multi-workstream program Portfolio-level command of dependency, risk and milestone management across many concurrent initiatives Designs and operates PM/portfolio tooling and reporting (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Power BI); able to build, modify, and use the system Proven senior stakeholder management and influence without authority across many institutions Strong written communication with professional fluency in English and Arabic Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, project/program management, public policy, international relations)
