Role Purpose

To oversee the strategic planning, development, and execution of the end-to-end supply chain functions. This role aligns logistics, procurement, and operations with overall corporate growth objectives while optimizing efficiency and responsiveness to operational needs.

Core Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial Leadership

• Corporate Strategy: Contribute to overall corporate strategic plans and cascade them into vertical and horizontal functional supply chain objectives.
• Budget Management: Formulate, consolidate, and monitor the functional budget to ensure spending limits and financial controls are tightly maintained.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion cost-reduction, productivity, and the adoption of industry-leading practices across all systems.

Supply Chain & Operations Management

• Procurement: Oversee major sourcing activities, evaluate pricing structures, and approve high-value vendor selections (via Tenders, RFQs, and RFPs) in compliance with policy.
• Logistics Optimization: Design and implement network optimization strategies to minimize structural costs while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Vendor Performance: Conduct regular performance and compliance reviews of third-party service providers and contractors.

Inventory & Warehousing

• Material Readiness: Coordinate material and service timelines to ensure downstream internal departments have proper lead times.
• Performance Metrics: Monitor and improve KPI tracking, including fulfillment speed/accuracy, delivery rates, quality control, and forecasting.
• Inventory Control: Implement advanced inventory management practices to maintain optimized, accurately forecasted stock levels.

Governance, Team Leadership & Reporting

• People Management: Lead, recruit, develop, and manage performance and succession planning for all direct and indirect reports.
• Executive Reporting: Present key metrics, performance barriers, and strategic action plans directly to top executive leadership.
• Compliance: Oversee the implementation of company policies, procedural updates, and strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Role Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. Professional Supply Chain certification is preferred.
• Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 20 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 12 years in a senior leadership/managerial role.
