Role Description The Software Test Engineer will design, execute, and maintain test cases for web and mobile applications that support Social Influence Group’s social media and marketing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual and automated test execution, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with software developers to resolve issues, and ensuring that new features meet quality and performance standards. The role also involves contributing to test plans, participating in code and requirement reviews from a quality perspective, and helping improve testing processes and tools over time. This is a part-time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing and Testing, including familiarity with different testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance). Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Test Execution and working with Test Cases, including test design, documentation, and defect tracking. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Software Development concepts, version control, and basic programming or scripting to support test automation. Candidates should possess the ability to work with QA and development tools (e.g., test management systems, issue tracking platforms, CI/CD environments). Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Additional beneficial skills include experience with automated testing frameworks, API testing, and cross-browser or cross-device testing. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work setting are essential.
