Role Description The Product Owner at Super Student (SS) is a part-time role based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The Product Owner will define and prioritize product features, maintain the product backlog, and ensure alignment between business goals, user needs, and development efforts. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and refining requirements, translating them into clear user stories, coordinating with software developers, and monitoring delivery timelines. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to collect feedback, track product performance, and support continuous improvement. The Product Owner will also contribute to release planning, documentation, and communication of product updates to relevant teams. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Product Management skills, including backlog ownership, feature prioritization, and roadmap planning. Candidates should possess solid Business Analysis and Analytical Skills to interpret data, define requirements, and support informed decision-making. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and end users. Candidates should possess a good understanding of Software Development processes and agile methodologies to work efficiently with technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience in edtech, education services, or student-focused products is an advantage. Ability to work independently, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environment. Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar) and basic familiarity with data analysis or reporting tools is beneficial.
