JOB TITLE : Consultant Ophthalmologist - UAE LOCATION : UAE EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Full-time SECTOR : Healthcare / Hospital / Medical Group ABOUT THE ROLE A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its comprehensive ophthalmology, eye surgery and subspecialty eye care and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist to join its growing clinical team.

ROLE OVERVIEW The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Diagnose and manage medical and surgical eye conditions across outpatient and operative settings.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures according to subspecialty scope such as cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea or oculoplastics.
• Interpret ophthalmic imaging, visual fields, OCT and diagnostic tests.
• Manage urgent eye conditions including trauma, acute vision loss, infection and raised intraocular pressure.
• Coordinate care with optometry, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology and pediatric teams when required.
• Maintain surgical safety, consent, documentation and infection control standards.
