Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (MEP – Mechanical) specializing in interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, and related MEP systems for high-end interior fit-out projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all mechanical (MEP) activities on interior fit-out projects
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical services as per project requirements
• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals
• Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams for smooth project execution
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and safety standards
• Resolve technical issues on site and provide engineering solutions

Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years UAE experience in MEP / interior fit-out

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems

• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications

• Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills

• Experience in site execution and project management

• Familiar with UAE authority approvals and standards

• Experience in high-end commercial, residential, and retail projects

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Able to manage multiple site activities

• UAE driving license is an Mandatory

Skills

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ventilation systems.

Expertise in interior fit-out MEP coordination and site execution.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.

Strong project planning, scheduling, and time management skills.

Experience in quantity estimation, material planning, and procurement coordination.

Good understanding of UAE authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, DCD, etc.).

Excellent coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Strong quality control and site inspection skills.

Ability to identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and compliance.

Effective leadership, team management, and supervision skills.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Valid UAE driving license (Mandatory).
