Role Description The CADD Lead Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for leading the computer-aided design and drafting activities for advertising and signage projects. This role oversees the creation, review, and refinement of technical drawings, layouts, and structural details to ensure accuracy and feasibility for fabrication and installation. The CADD Lead Engineer coordinates with designers, project managers, and production teams to translate concepts into detailed engineering plans, resolve technical issues, and maintain design standards and documentation. Daily responsibilities include managing CADD workflows, checking drawings for quality and compliance, updating project files, and guiding team members on best practices. The role may also involve visiting project sites to verify dimensions, assess installation conditions, and support smooth project execution.
Qualifications

Proficiency in CADD software (such as Auto CAD or similar tools) and strong skills in technical drafting and layout design. Experience interpreting architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings, with the ability to translate concepts into precise engineering documentation. Knowledge of materials, basic structural principles, and fabrication processes relevant to signage, displays, and advertising installations. Strong project coordination skills, including organizing workflows, maintaining version control of drawings, and meeting deadlines. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, engineers, vendors, and installation teams. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to quality and safety standards in all technical outputs. Previous experience in advertising, signage, construction, or related engineering fields is highly beneficial. Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, drafting, or a related discipline is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
