Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Joinery Production Manager role based in Ajman. The Joinery Production Manager oversees day-to-day production activities, including planning workloads, scheduling jobs, and coordinating resources to meet project timelines and quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising workshop staff, monitoring production processes, ensuring adherence to technical drawings and specifications, and implementing safety and quality control procedures. The role involves collaborating with design, procurement, and project teams, managing materials and inventory, resolving production issues, and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste. The Joinery Production Manager also prepares production reports, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and helps maintain equipment and facilities in good working order. Qualifications Strong experience in joinery or woodworking production management, including shop-floor supervision and workflow planning. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and CAD layouts related to joinery and interior fit-out. Knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials (wood, veneers, laminates, hardware), and machinery operation. Skills in production scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management to meet deadlines and budget targets. Proven track record in quality assurance, safety compliance, and implementation of standard operating procedures. Effective leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints. Good communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage. Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, joinery, wood technology, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in a similar role within joinery, carpentry, or interior fit-out manufacturing in the region is highly beneficial.
