We are now looking for a Senior Swift Engineer to help scale our existing i OS platform and build reliable SDKs that allow external applications and partners to integrate with our technology.
Role Description You will take a senior engineering role across our i OS application and Swift SDK ecosystem.
You will work closely with the founders and engineering team to improve the architecture, reliability, performance, and scalability of an existing i OS platform. You will also design and maintain Swift SDKs that expose our platform capabilities through clean, secure, and developer-friendly interfaces. This is a hands-on position for someone who can take ownership of production systems, make sound architectural decisions, and ship high-quality software in a fast-moving early-stage environment.
What You’ll DoOwn the architecture and development of key components within our existing i OS platform Design, build, document, and maintain production-grade Swift SDKsImprove application performance, stability, scalability, and maintainability Build reusable frameworks and modular components for internal and external integrations Integrate i OS applications with APIs, agentic systems, payment infrastructure, and other backend services Establish clear SDK interfaces, versioning practices, error-handling standards, and backward compatibility Work across Swift UI and UIKit where required Apply modern Swift concurrency patterns using async/await, actors, and structured concurrency Develop robust networking, authentication, caching, persistence, and background-processing components Write unit, integration, and UI tests for critical workflows Improve build, release, observability, and CI/CD processes Review code and help establish engineering standards across the mobile platform Collaborate with product and backend teams to translate complex requirements into reliable user experiences Investigate production issues and implement long-term architectural fixes rather than temporary patches
What We’re Looking For5+ years of professional i OS development experience Strong production experience with Swift Demonstrated experience building and scaling complex i OS applications Strong understanding of Swift UI, UIKit, and the Apple development ecosystem Experience designing reusable Swift frameworks, libraries, or SDKsDeep understanding of application architecture, modularisation, dependency management, and API design Strong knowledge of networking, authentication, data persistence, concurrency, and application lifecycle management Experience working with REST APIs, Web Sockets, or other real-time communication systems Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and UI testing Experience debugging performance, memory, threading, and application stability issues Familiarity with App Store release processes, code signing, provisioning, and production deployment Ability to independently own technical decisions and deliver production-ready systems Comfortable operating in a small, early-stage team with changing requirements and high levels of responsibility Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have Experience building public or partner-facing SDKsExperience maintaining SDK documentation, sample applications, and integration guides Experience with fintech, payments, commerce, banking, trading, or wallet applications Familiarity with cryptography, secure storage, passkeys, biometrics, or mobile security Experience integrating AI agents, LLM-powered systems, or automation platforms Familiarity with web3, wallets, smart contracts, or on-chain systems Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, Flutter, or cross-platform SDK development Experience setting up mobile observability, analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring Previous experience in an early-stage or venture-backed technology company
