Role Description This part-time Lead AI Engineer role at MDS Groupe Recrutement is a hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home. The Lead AI Engineer will design and implement advanced AI solutions, oversee the development and integration of machine learning models, and guide technical decisions across projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, building and optimizing algorithms, reviewing code, ensuring scalability and performance of AI systems, and maintaining robust documentation. The role also involves mentoring team members, evaluating new AI technologies and tools, and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and ethical AI practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and clean coding practices. Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with experience designing, training, and evaluating machine learning models. Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including working with modern NLP frameworks and large language models. Experience with Python or similar languages, ML/AI libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and version control tools. Background in deploying AI solutions to production environments, working with cloud platforms, and optimizing models for performance. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to lead technical projects, mentor team members, communicate complex concepts clearly, and collaborate in a multicultural environment. Familiarity with data privacy, security best practices, and ethical considerations in AI development is highly beneficial.
