Job title: Data Engineer — Real-Time Building Telemetry Company: Info Labs Global Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site) Employment type: Contract / Project-Based engagement Eligibility: Candidates must already be residing in the UAE with a valid residence visa About the role Dozens of subsystems, thousands of points, inconsistent naming, mixed units. You'll turn that into a clean, normalised, queryable data model that the twin and its analytics depend on. What you'll do Design the canonical data model and tagging standard for building assets and telemetry Build ETL/ELT pipelines for both real-time streams and batch/historical loads Implement normalisation, unit conversion, deduplication, and data quality validation Manage retention, aggregation, and downsampling strategies for time-series data Support analytics and reporting requirements — KPIs, energy trends, utilisation, SLA metrics Monitor pipeline health and data completeness What you'll bring4+ years in data engineering with strong SQL and Python Hands-on experience with time-series data and streaming pipelines Practical data-mapping experience across heterogeneous source systems Familiarity with ETL tooling and orchestration (Airflow, NiFi, or equivalent) Rigour about data quality — you validate rather than assume Nice to have Exposure to semantic tagging standards such as Brick Schema or Project Haystack Analytics/BI layer experience (Power BI, Grafana, Superset) Location & engagement Based in Dubai, UAE — on-site at Info Labs Global and at the client facility as the project requires Project-based engagement for the duration of the Digital Twin program, with extension subject to project pipeline Applicants must currently be in the UAE with a valid residence visa.
