Job Description – Civil Site Engineer

Position: Civil Site Engineer

Department: Construction / Projects

Location: Construction Sites

Reporting To: Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Civil Site Engineer to manage and supervise daily construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work execution is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, foremen, and site workers to ensure smooth project progress.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and technical documents.
• Monitor site activities including civil works, structural works, finishing works, and general construction operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure materials delivered to site are checked and comply with project specifications.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and work updates.
• Coordinate with project management team regarding progress, issues, and requirements.
• Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at site.
• Assist in quantity measurements, material estimation, and site documentation.
• Identify site issues and provide technical solutions in coordination with the project team.
• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Ensure work completion within the planned schedule and project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Civil Site Engineer in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
• Ability to read and understand civil drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of site supervision and quality control procedures.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
• UAE construction experience preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license will be an advantage (but not mandatory).

Work Conditions:

• Full-time position
• Work location: Construction project sites (UAQ)
• Working hours as per project requirements (normal time is 8am-6pm)
