We're Hiring — Site Engineer | Perfect Space Fitouts | Dubai
Perfect Space Fitouts is a Dubai-based interior fit-out and renovation contractor working across residential, commercial, and managed community projects. We need a Site Engineer who takes full ownership of execution on site, every day, across multiple live projects.
The Role Full-time, site-based across our live projects in Dubai. You will supervise daily site activity end to end: directing the site team, reading and implementing drawings, coordinating trades, and making sure every activity matches the approved design, quality standard, and schedule. You will work closely with the Operations Director, the client liaison team, and the design team from first activity to handover.
What You'll Be Doing Supervise all daily site activities across civil, gypsum, tiling, electrical, plumbing, joinery, aluminium, and painting works Direct and coordinate the site team — masons, carpenters, electricians, painters, helpers Read and implement architectural drawings, MEP drawings, shop drawings, and design layouts on site Sequence trades correctly to avoid clashes and rework Run daily inspections and catch defects and non-conforming work before it progresses further Verify delivered materials against approved specifications, and reject and document any non-conforming deliveries Manage the pre-handover snag list so defects are resolved before the client walkthrough Prepare and maintain the daily site schedule and flag manpower needs 2–3 days ahead Coordinate material delivery against the schedule so no activity sits idle for missing materials Review shop drawings and submittals before execution and raise discrepancies in writing Manage subcontractors and suppliers on site against company standards and approved drawings Keep all work within the approved Scope of Works — no variation proceeds without written management approval Submit daily progress reports and keep an up-to-date site diary with photos of activities and milestones Attend weekly progress meetings with the Operations Director with accurate site status
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field Full UAE driving license mandatory3–5 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects, residential experience preferred Hands-on experience supervising all fit-out trades Proven ability to direct a site team of 15–25 workers across simultaneous activities Strong drawing literacy: architectural, MEP, tile setting-out, shop drawings Working knowledge of UAE building regulations and NOC/permit processes for residential fit-out Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling tools is an advantage A problem-solver who resolves site issues practically and takes ownership of outcomes Organised and detail-oriented — nothing substandard passes without being raised A clear, direct communicator with the site team and a professional one with clients and management
