The Role We are seeking an experienced L2 Onsite Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support for education technology solutions, particularly Student Information Systems (SIS). This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional with application support experience, strong SQL skills, and excellent troubleshooting capabilities. You will investigate complex incidents, collaborate with development teams, support end users, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2 technical support for SIS and related education technology applications. Investigate and resolve application, database, integration, and system-related incidents. Perform SQL queries and database investigations for troubleshooting, validation, and reporting. Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and recommend long-term corrective solutions. Collaborate with customers, end users, functional teams, and development teams to resolve complex technical issues. Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential system problems. Support application integrations, APIs, data synchronization, and related technical processes. Manage and track support tickets through Jira, TFS, or similar service management platforms. Escalate unresolved issues with detailed technical analysis and supporting documentation. Participate in software testing, validation, releases, and defect investigation when required. Provide user guidance, technical assistance, and training while maintaining agreed service levels and customer satisfaction. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in application support, software support, L2 support, or a related technical role is preferred. Proven experience supporting Student Information Systems or similar enterprise applications. Experience within the K-12 education or education technology sector is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of application troubleshooting and incident investigation methodologies. Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and strong SQL querying skills. Familiarity with Jira, TFS, Azure Dev Ops, or similar ticket and development management platforms. Understanding of application integrations, APIs, cloud-based applications, and data synchronization is an advantage. Excellent analytical, investigative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong Arabic communication skills and very good English communication skills are preferred.
