We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5–6 years of UAE experience, preferably in retail, commercial, or similar projects. The candidate should have strong site experience and be capable of reviewing drawings, providing technical comments, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and following up on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical drawings including tender, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.

• Review drawings and provide technical comments to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Monitor site works and ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, landlords, site teams, and other MEP disciplines.

• Follow up on technical comments, approvals, and closure of outstanding issues.

• Check and ensure compliance with project specifications, design requirements, and authority regulations.

• Attend site inspections and meetings and provide necessary technical guidance.

• Review material submittals, method statements, and other mechanical technical submissions.

• Follow up with contractors and consultants to ensure timely completion of mechanical works.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team during testing, commissioning, and project handover.

• Maintain proper records of drawings, comments, approvals, inspections, and project correspondence.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

• 6–7 years of relevant UAE experience in HVAC and mechanical services.

• Strong site experience in retail, commercial, or similar projects.

• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

• Experience in reviewing and commenting on drawings and technical submissions.

• Good understanding of specifications, standards, and authority requirements.

• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

• Good communication skills.

• UAE Driving License is mandatory.
