1. Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies required for the Construction Chemicals Division in line with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

2. Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and prepare purchase orders in accordance with company policies.

3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and resolve issues related to quality, pricing, delivery, and invoices.

4. Work closely with Production, Planning, R&D, Quality Control, and Warehouse teams to ensure the uninterrupted availability of materials and support production schedules.

5. Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.

6. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and material pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.

7. Coordinate raw material sampling, supplier documentation, and material approvals with internal stakeholders.

8. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases, ensuring all purchasing activities are properly documented.

9. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.

10. Support inventory optimization, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement projects within the Procurement function.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Business Administration/ Operations or other related fields

• Minimum five (5) years’ of experience as Purchase Officer/ Senior Project Buyer/ Procurement Specialist from a construction chemicals company.

• Have good relationships with local suppliers.

• Mandatory proficiency in English (any other language  will be an added advantage)

• Contract management and supplier experience.

• Inventory management/ control.

• Negotiation skills.

• Vendor/ Supplier Management.
