Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of clients, manage day-to-day communication, and ensure high-quality service delivery across road, rail, sea, and air freight solutions. Responsibilities include handling inquiries and quotations, coordinating with operations and logistics teams, tracking shipments, resolving service issues, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The role involves developing long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow accounts, preparing performance reports, and supporting pricing and contract negotiations in alignment with company policies. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet service level agreements and uphold company standards in customer care and compliance. Qualifications Strong client relationship management, customer service, and account management skills, with the ability to build trust and retain business. Knowledge of logistics and international shipping processes, preferably across road, rail, sea, and air freight, including documentation and basic trade terms. Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with clear written and verbal English; additional languages are an advantage. Solid organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in records and reporting. Comfort with using CRM systems, MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), and other digital tools for tracking, analysis, and client communication. Analytical and problem-solving skills to address service issues, manage expectations, and support process improvements. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Dubai and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in shipping or freight forwarding. Prior experience in account management or sales within logistics, transportation, or related industries is highly beneficial.
