About us

The Ark Animal Clinic has been caring for pets since 2013. We run two clinics in Dubai plus our international branches. Our brand is warm, expert and built entirely around pet owners and their companions. We already have a full brand guideline in place, including colour palette, typography and tone of voice. We need a designer who can apply it consistently, everywhere our clients see us.

The role

This is an ongoing part time freelance engagement of 20 to 25 hours per week. It is a design only role. You design, our development partner builds. You will never be asked to write code.

You will design our website and landing pages, keep our monthly social media calendar on brand, produce the creatives that run on Meta and Google Ads, and design the email and WhatsApp templates we send to thousands of pet owners.

What you will do

• Design and continuously improve our website pages and campaign landing pages

• Hand over clean, organised, developer ready files with clear specs, states and exported assets

• Review our monthly social media content calendar and make sure every post, story and carousel follows our brand guidelines

• Create layered PSD creatives for Meta Ads and Google Ads across the required placements and sizes

• Design email templates for Mailchimp and WhatsApp campaign creatives

• Keep every asset consistent in colour, typography, tone and logo usage

• Deliver organised, layered source files. Not only flat exports

Bonus, not required

• Short form video editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts

• Simple motion graphics and animated ad variations

Requirements

• What we are looking for

  • At least 3 to 7 years of experience in digital design covering web and paid advertising

  • A portfolio showing real websites or landing pages, social media work and ad creatives. Portfolio link is required

  • Strong command of Figma, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

  • Responsive web design skills, and a solid understanding of what a developer needs from you

  • Experience designing HTML email templates

  • The discipline to follow a strict brand guideline without drifting off palette

  • Clear written English and fast, reliable communication over WhatsApp and email

  • Availability during Dubai working hours

  • Your own equipment, stable internet and licensed software

  Nice to have

  • Video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or CapCut

  • Design system or component library experience

  • Familiarity with what WordPress can and cannot do, so your designs stay buildable

  • Previous work with veterinary, healthcare, pet care or retail brands

  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads creative specifications
