We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a well-established British school in Dubai. The successful candidate will be passionate about food, nutrition and practical learning, with the ability to inspire students through engaging, hands-on lessons. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality Food Technology curriculum while creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Key Responsibiltiies: - Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across the relevant year groups. - Teach both theoretical and practical aspects of food technology, nutrition and food preparation. - Develop students’ practical skills, creativity, critical thinking and understanding of food science. - Prepare practical demonstrations, projects and assessments. - Ensure excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety are maintained at all times. - Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic development. - Contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental initiatives. - Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community. - Encourage students to develop a positive and informed approach to food, nutrition and healthy living.

- A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Home Economics or a related discipline. - A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent. - Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a school or international education setting. - Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, food science and practical kitchen skills. - Excellent classroom management and communication skills. - A genuine passion for developing students through practical and experiential learning. - Candidates with experience of the British curriculum will be highly desirable.
