Job description
We are seeking an experienced Consultant PICU / Consultant Urgent Care Physician to join a prestigious healthcare organization in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level assessment and management of critically ill and acutely unwell pediatric patients.
- Lead the stabilization and management of patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, trauma, and other complex acute conditions.
- Manage patients requiring advanced monitoring and critical care support.
- Perform and oversee appropriate emergency and critical care procedures.
- Coordinate patient transfers, referrals, and escalation of care when required.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and participate in clinical decision-making.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical guidance to junior doctors and medical staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, patient safety, and service development initiatives.
- Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development programmes.
- Work closely with Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Surgery, and other specialist teams.
