Job Description:
As a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the inventory of our paint supplies, ensuring stock accuracy, proper organization, and efficient operations. You will play a crucial role in supporting the daily logistics and delivery functions of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the inventory of paints and related products.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock.
- Ensure accurate and timely stock counts, conducting regular physical stock checks.
- Store items properly, ensuring easy access .
- Prepare and process stock orders for customers.
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries.
- Keep the storage area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to management.
- Assist in maintaining records and reports related to inventory and stock movements.
- Ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are followed.
Skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of stock control principles and warehouse practices.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role (lifting, moving stock).
