About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help build the systems that power our products. You'll work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to architect and deliver robust, scalable server-side solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services and APIs
• Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in one or more server-side languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, Go, Java, or Ruby)
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and/or GraphQL
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid grasp of version control with Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
