Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct detailed analysis of project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Utilize cost estimation software and tools to streamline the estimation process and enhance accuracy.
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline project scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
Analytical abilities: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings
Software Proficiency : Experience with estimation software , MS Office ,MS excel and Cost X
Technical Knowledge ; Deep understanding of construction of Materials , methods and local regulations
Negotiation Skills : Ability to negotiate with vendors and subcontractorsto optimize the costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience of minimum 2 - 3 yers required.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in cost estimation within the construction or engineering sectors.
Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or equivalent are preferred.
Experience in handling large-scale projects, especially in the commercial or infrastructure domains, is a plus.
