A reputable and well-established Medical Device company is actively recruiting an Accountant for their Dubai office.


The main responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and review vendor payments, invoices, and reconciliations.
  • Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide required schedules and reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain vendor master data and support procurement-related accounting processes.


Skills

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Must have experience working in a B2B business environment or medical devices or pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, etc.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
