Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed joinery BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct thorough material take-offs from joinery drawings and specifications to determine required quantities and costs.
- Evaluate subcontractor joinery bids, comparing prices, and assessing their compliance with project requirements.
- Manage and control joinery project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Holds relevant professional certifications such as MRICS or equivalent.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in joinery quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of joinery materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
