Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated ITS Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team and support the delivery of a major ITS construction supervision project. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of various Intelligent Transportation Systems deployed across a major transportation network.
The ITS Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and supervising ITS construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and authority regulations. The role will involve close coordination with contractors, stakeholders, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of ITS systems on-site.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and relevant standards.
- Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, method statements, testing procedures, and commissioning plans related to ITS systems.
- Inspect and verify installation works for ITS infrastructure and equipment.
- Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), integrated testing, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary supervision teams including civil, electrical, telecom, traffic, and systems engineers.
- Identify construction issues and provide technical recommendations to support timely project delivery.
- Review and verify contractor progress against approved schedules.
- Prepare site inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), snagging reports, and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
- Coordinate with Abu Dhabi stakeholders and authorities regarding approvals, inspections, and project handover requirements.
- Support project closeout activities, including preparation of as-built documentation and final acceptance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in ITS engineering and construction supervision.
Demonstrated experience working on ITS construction projects within the UAE.
Experience supervising ITS installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Good understanding of ITS standards, traffic management systems, communications networks, and systems integration.
Familiarity with Abu Dhabi transport authority requirements and project delivery processes.
Strong technical reporting and coordination skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems.
Preferable if candidates have ITC (Integrated Transport Centre) approval.
Preferable if candidates also have design experience.

المسؤوليات:

- مراقبة أنشطة البناء لضمان الامتثال للرسومات المعتمدة والمواصفات ومتطلبات المشروع والمعايير ذات الصلة.
- مراجعة بيانات المقاول والرسومات التنفيذية وطرق العمل procedures والاختبار وخطط التشغيل المتعلقة بأنظمة ITS.
- فحص والتحقق من أعمال التثبيت للبنية التحتية والمعدات ITS.
- شهادة اختبارات قبول المصنع (FAT)، واختبارات قبول الموقع (SAT)، والاختبارات المتكاملة وأنشطة التشغيل.
- التنسيق مع فرق الإشراف متعددة التخصصات بما في ذلك الهندسة المدنية والكهربائية والاتصالات والحركة والأنظمة.
- تحديد مشكلات البناء وتقديم توصيات فنية لدعم التسليم المرتقب للمشروع.
- مراجعة والتحقق من تقدم المقاول مقابل الجداول المعتمدة.
- إعداد تقارير فحص الموقع وتقارير عدم المطابقة (NCRs) وتقارير العيوب وتحديثات التقدم.
- ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة وإدارة الجودة.
- التنسيق مع أصحاب المصلحة والجهات في أبوظبي فيما يتعلق بالموافقات والتفتيشات ومتطلبات تسليم المشروع.
- دعم أنشطة إغلاق المشروع، بما في ذلك إعداد الوثائق as-built والقبول النهائي.
المؤهلات:
درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو الهندسة الإلكترونية أو الهندسة الاتصالات أو الهندسة الحاسوبية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في هندسة ITS والإشراف على البناء.
خبرة مثبتة في العمل على مشاريع بناء ITS داخل الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
خبرة في الإشراف على تركيب ITS واختبارها وتشغيلها.
فهم جيد لمعايير ITS وأنظمة إدارة الحركة وشبكات الاتصالات وتكامل الأنظمة.
الإلمام بمتطلبات جهة النقل أبوظبي وعمليات تسليم المشاريع.
مهارات تقارير تقنية وتنسيق قوية.
اتصالات ممتازة وقدرات إدارة أصحاب المصلحة.
إتقان في Microsoft Office وأنظمة توثيق الهندسة.
يفضل إذا كان لدى المتقدمين اعتماد ITC (Integrated Transport Centre).
يفضل أيضًا وجود خبرة في التصميم.
