Role Description The Project Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. This role oversees end-to-end delivery of recruitment and staffing projects, including planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and quality assurance. The Project Director leads cross-functional teams, coordinates with clients to understand project objectives, and ensures that milestones, service levels, and budgets are met. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project performance, managing risks and issues, preparing status reports, and driving continuous improvement in processes and outcomes. The role also involves mentoring team members, supporting stakeholder communication, and aligning project execution with Six Figure Staff’s strategic goals and service standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated project leadership experience, including planning, execution, and delivery of multi-phase or multi-stakeholder initiatives. Background in recruitment, staffing, HR consulting, or professional services project management is highly beneficial. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present updates, negotiate priorities, and manage expectations. Proven ability to analyze data, manage budgets, track KPIs, and make informed decisions based on metrics and business objectives. Experience leading and coaching teams, fostering collaboration, and managing performance in a fast-paced environment. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage. Comfort working on-site in Nairobi County, Kenya, with flexibility to adapt to changing client and project needs.
